Shoplifting is a Crime.

Last week we walked to the grocery store, as usual, and, I hate to say this, but Jack committed his first crime. He was getting fussy (as usual) so I gave him something to occupy him. Bananas seemed to do the trick and I was happy he was quiet. Then we went through the check out line and the employee chatted up Jack as usual and lots of smiles were thrown about. I paid and took our bag and pushed the stroller outside. That's when I looked down and saw it. A big bunch of bananas on his lap that we hadn't paid for. Jack had used his charm and snuck them out right under her nose. Probably a cool dollar's worth. I'm just hoping he doesn't stick with this life of crime.
