Am I forever condemned to call my husband that I'm in love with "Daddy"? Always refer to myself in the third person as "Mommy"? Because that's weird. And I don't think it'll fly around our friends without kids.
while i am now TERRIFIED of breast infections, i believe the moral of the story was "people need to talk about this crap...how many more horrible secrets are there for new moms?!?!" stacey wasn't telling... :)
Dan and I never address each other as "Mama" or "Dada" - it's only ever when we're speaking directly to Simon. That helps a little, I think.
But Simon's teacher recently told us a story about a time last semester when she asked him what our names were and after offering "Mama" and "Dada," he thought about it and said, "Dan and Dr. O----"
agreed
ReplyDeleteha! marah also doesn't want to talk about breast infections. i mean, what's on the veto list next?
