San Diego Wild Animal Park

Or, as they call it now, The Safari Park.

Jack and I were in San Diego this past weekend and we went to the San Diego Safari Park with Grandma, Aunt Leslie, Aunt Kelly, and cousins Johnny and Hank. I didn't get to take a lot of pictures but here is Jack meeting the big monitor lizard.

It was even cooler when he met the lion. Pretty amazing.

They were having a special exhibit for the month...butterflies! You went through three different doors and then finally entered a beautiful atrium type area with thousands of butterflies. All different types. And they would land on people. Of course, Jack was pretty done by the time we got there at the end of the day but he let the nice park employee take this group shot.

It was a long tiring day for the little guy and, for the first time in his life, he fell asleep in his stroller.

Thanks everyone for the great day!

  1. Seriously. And the family photo is awesome. It's so cute to see all three of the boys together - you can really see the family resemblance!

But wait: The Safari Park?! They keep changing the names for things. I'll never get used to "The San Diego Fair" either.
