Sentimentality is for the birds

Jack has made it very clear that he is our son in many many ways. The most humorous one has to be his complete contempt for genuine sentiment. Jack has turned John and me into mush at times and whenever we start to tell him we love him or something equally cheesy, he changes the mood right away. How? Well, so far he's let out giant farts, vomited, or unleashed hell in his diaper when we're mid-sentence. It reminds his parents that our little family excels at sarcasm and humor, not sappy sentimentality.
