Today Jack is...25 weeks old.

This week was mostly about recovering from our east coast trip. His sleep was a little off but we got it back on track. But, in more exciting news, the little guy really started rolling. In the past, he had rolled once in a while. But in the past couple of days, every time I put him on his tummy, he rolls over. And he can roll from stomach to back and back to stomach. Very exciting!

Before I forget, I've been meaning to mention that he now recognizes his name and turns his head when you say it. It's sort of amazing considering a few months ago he was just a blob who couldn't do anything. :)

Jack's Aunt Julie was in town visiting and they got some quality time (in matching Wake Forest outfits)

Eating solid foods continued to go well. In fact, we upped his intake to 3 meals a day and increased the amount of oatmeal cereal at each sitting. He had a weight check at the doctor and he's gained weight in the past two weeks! The doc still wants him to keep gaining but it's a start.

We spent a lot of time in the backyard, hanging out on our blanket. He was rolling, laughing, and just generally being awesome. He really does seem like a different kid sometimes when he's outside. So much happier amongst the trees and fresh air.

We also spent some time at the park again where he was absolutely enthralled with the older toddlers playing. He couldn't take his eyes off of them.

Okay, and now, more pics from the week!

Oddly enough, he's not crying in this picture. He's just experimenting with this weird cooing noise that he discovered.

With my glasses...so funny.
