This is such a cute photo - but I'll also admit that, stupidly, it made me feel anxious: I am of the "paranoid mom" category, so whenever I see small children standing on chairs, I start to feel somewhat panicky, against my will. Obviously I'm crazy, but even after all this time, it still hasn't worn off, which is probably why Simon is better off going to the playground with his father.
