The blurry pic above is from Jack's arrival at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I couldn't believe how excited he was and how well he remembered the house and the backyard. Pretty amazing.
He remembered that Grandpa had a putting green which he enjoyed. He loved putting all the balls in the different holes.
While he was there, he got to play with his cousins, Hank and Johnny. He seemed to have a very good time with them.
We were also lucky that our visit coincided with a visit from my uncles from New Jersey. So Jack got to meet two of his GREAT uncles. Sadly, I didn't get a picture of Jack with Uncle Tommy, but here are some cute ones of Uncle Bobby. Jack certainly enjoyed all the attention.
Of course, John and I were actually in SD for a wedding so Jack spent a lot of time with his relatives who were nice enough to babysit. Here are some pics we got courtesy of Aunt Leslie and Grandma...
And while Jack was having fun with them, John and I were having a blast at the wedding of one of our dearest friends. It was one of those weddings where you know a lot of people and it is just so wonderful and fun. And I even had to give a speech that wasn't a disaster. Dancing and merriment was had by all. Thanks to everyone for taking care of Jack so we could have a date night!

Us with the DJ...who happened to be the DJ at our wedding. He remembered us well and all of the exuberant dancers at our wedding. Pretty good for 7 years and 500 weddings later.
